I’m a performer, so expect music with an awesome beat and plenty of sing-along opportunities. I love to challenge my students through new ways of hitting different muscle groups and creative uses props. That being said, all levels of their barre journey will have fun in my classes, for sure! You’ll definitely feel the burn after my class, but we’ll have some fun and laughs getting there too.
One of the best compliments I’ve ever received from a student was “thank you for hammering us—my thighs hate you.” There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that students got what they came for: a great work out.
I want to continue to challenge myself to experience new forms of fitness to bring elements back to what I teach. The more pilates, TRX or HIIT classes I take, the more principles and exercises I find a way to modify and bring back.
