Barre Instructor, Yogi
I took my first barre class at the Bohemian Studios (which was coincidentally the first barre class "sneak peak" that was offered there) and all I could think was: holy cow, what did I get myself into?? Barre is HARD! Luckily, I kept with it and continued to challenge myself both in class and during the training while I learned the method. There's nothing like the feeling of seeing your happily exhausted students at the end of a class and knowing that you helped facilitate that experience for them.
The yang types of fitness (especially barre) is a huge passion of mine, but so is yin yoga, restorative yoga and myofascial release. I think that it's incredibly important to learn how to slow down - to take the time to listen to the intuitive voice inside of ourselves. In the world of today, it's easy for that voice to get drowned out by the cacophony of our busy surroundings - it brings me a lot of happiness to help students learn how to rediscover and listen to their own internal voice.
I love being able to offer my students both sides of the spectrum in terms of fitness and self care. My ambition runs deep and I have the utmost faith that I will continue to be a forever student and instructor so that I can continue to challenge myself and others for years to come.
