Fitness has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. Being active to me is so much fun and something I've integrated into my weekly routine. *Cue barre and yoga.* I started attending more structural, group fitness classes in college due to my busy schedule. I love barre because of the physicality and different movements and yoga because of the strength and mind/body mentality. Working a corporate 8-5 desk job, I was definitely lacking in creativity and movement. I signed up for barre teacher training out of curiosity and wanting to learn more about the body, and I haven't looked back since! I started teaching barre over a year ago and have loved every minute of it.
I enjoy everything about teaching... the people, music, how fun it is, but when someone says after class, "Thanks for the ass-kicker" or "Great class!" that's probably the best part!
I want to keep learning and keep teaching! I love taking classes from other instructors (barre, yoga, pilates, lagree, cycling etc.) to learn more tips and tricks to make classes harder :)
